Kimber Mills was shot in the head and leg late Saturday night at a popular wooded hangout spot known as "The Pit" in Pinson, Alabama. According to authorities, 27-year-old Steven Tyler Whitehead stormed the gathering and opened fire, injuring four people, including Kimber. She was rushed to the hospital, but after showing no signs of improvement, her family made the agonizing decision to remove her from life support on Wednesday.
